I have always loved St. Patrick’s Day, and what a better way to celebrate the love in your life with this “Lucky In Love” party for a special occasion! The color palette was green and gold and I had a lot of fun crafting and pulling a lot of things from my shop together for this photoshoot. I am even offering the 2 printable signs for free!
“May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow, and may trouble avoid you wherever you go.” – Irish Blessing
I cut out gold glitter hearts using my Cricut machine and placed them on front of French square plastic bottles using a ZOTS glue dot. These glue dots work great, and it’s all I use when I am crafting. I added green twine and a green striped paper straw.
I took old candlesticks that were black and spray painted them gold metallic Rustoleum spray paint. The paint went on so evenly, and it took very little to coat them!
I made giant marshmallow pops by melting mint green chocolate and dipping them in, after sticking a paper straw into them. I first dipped the paper straw in the melted chocolate and let it sit for a couple of minutes on wax paper to set up. I sprinkled with green sugar sprinkles and let them dry for about 10-15 more minutes. Once dry, I bagged them up and added a pretty green polka dot ribbon tied in a bow!
For the spoons, I spread mode lodge on the handles and then sprinkled gold glitter on them. Such a cute and quick way to add a little glitz to your table. I used fabulous gold napkins from Oriental Trading for the table.
For the dessert cups, I make little parfaits with whipped cream and brownie bites. I topped them with green chocolate shamrocks that I made by melting the chocolate, putting it in a zip-top bag, and piping it into shamrock shapes onto wax paper. It were so easy and added that little extra touch.
I created this gold glittered “Lucky in Love” Cake Topper for the top of my cake. I added a few gold chocolate candies on top, also from Oriental Trading, which gave it that little pop of color my white cake needed. I also served he gold candies in green candy cups and spread those around the table – edible decor!
I made cupcakes with green frosting and added gold glitter heart cupcake toppers that I made, again using my Cricut. I placed a few of 5″ gold balloons around the table as decor and blew up a few that I added in front of the table on the floor.
I made this Lucky in Love 8×10 sign that you can download for free HERE. The 4×6 sign is also available for free HERE.
I cut out plenty of green glitter shamrocks that I placed around the table, plus I made a few larger ones into a banner for the front of the table. I also placed gold balloons and green tissue poms in front of the table – so simple, but so elegant!
I had so much fun putting this green and gold St. Patrick’s Day Party together! It was very sparkly, which is right up my alley. I hope you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with your loves! xoxo
